Martin Williams, 18, of Enfield, was charged with including carrying a dangerous weapon, possessing a weapon on school grounds, first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, and first-degree breach of peace, Enfield Police said.
Students at Enfield High School told the school's resource officer around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, that Williams had been "racking" what appeared to be a pistol in a bathroom, authorities said.
Administrators put the school on lockdown and police rushed to the building. They found Williams in a classroom, where they patted him down and found a BB gun in his waistband.
No students were hurt, and police arrested Williams without incident.
A judge ordered him held on a $100,000 bond, authorities said.
